Today I have been looking at some furniture brands for a project I will like to share with you the top 5 kick ass brands that I think will give a lot to talk in the Milano furniture fair this year.

Galotti and Radice

Depsite this furniture brand has been on since 1955 this is going to be the year for This Italian brand as their furniture goes totally with the trend this/ their  sophisticated mood for the luxurious furniture in dark and rich tones, beautifull crafted pieces and a lot of brass items for the home makes them one of my favourites. The also offer office furniture , characterised by high-quality glass designs, innovation and new finishes.

Have a look at their furniture here and tell me what do you think?

Saba ( Upholstery )

Of course most of the top 5 have to be Italian right. Saba is another Italian brand with amazing upholester pieces. My favourite is this sectional sofa called Ananta class. Super classy and with endless combinations for the modules and the ends   such as leather trays or veneer side tables.

This is also a great website for your projects as has great images of all of the furniture pieces you can show to your client and also provides 3D and Cad files!

Holly Hunt ( Have a look at their room views )

Holly hunt has been kicking ass for long time but I think this year they are going to with their factory was bigger as lots of the items are hot items in all of the stores. The queen of the linen and velvet is bringuing some very interesting lighting collection worth to check out.

Finally they have a new website !

Another Italian

This kirk sofa in blue velvet upholstery is driving me crazy

Also very fan of the grace chair

This Scandinavian brand specialices in bringing gems back to life as they say themselves they are treasure hunters and this time they have spoted on with the beetle chair wich many designers are going crazy for

We see ourselves as treasure hunters, where curiosity, courage and intuition are key components for our success. Design is all about discovering gems and following your instincts. It involves travelling, searching and finding long-lost remnants from the past as well as contemporary, cutting-edge designs from new artists on the horizon.
